Taylor Lautner Joins Grown Ups 2

Taylor Lautner. Adam Sandler. The sequel to Grown Ups. Frankly, the only way this movie could become any more likely to be beaten up is if A) they announce it?ll be released as a pi?ata instead of a movie or B) they somehow manage to convince Michael Bay to co-produce and switch Sandler?s origin to that of an extra-terrestrial. But it?s true: the wolfy one has indeed signed on to the Sandler comedy.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lautner?s role won?t quite be a lead, but he will apparently crop up in a ?fun? role and go toe-to-toe with Sandler.

From the sounds of it, Sandler has rounded up most of the original cast, with Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek all set to return, and Dennis Dugan once more on directing patrol. There?s no word on a plot yet, but given that this is Sandler in get-my-friends-together-and-have-fun-mode, is there much need for a plot?

Though the first movie didn?t exactly go over big with critics, it managed a healthy haul at the box office, taking in $271 million worldwide, so there?s clearly an audience. Lautner might get some mileage out of sending up his image and showing he can do comedy (assuming he pulls it off) and the producers won?t hurt their chances if they can lure some of his fan base along for the ride.

Still, you can bet that someone is already trying to find out when Sandler and Lautner will share the set, and launching a Kickstarter fund to hire an unmanned drone to carry out a targeted strike. Watch the skies, gentlemen.

Pop star experiences the elements in a second scintillating teaser for the much-anticipated clip.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> shared a new teaser on Tuesday (April 3) for his highly anticipated "Boyfriend" video. </P><P> </P><P>He tweeted out the short tease days after he dropped the first tease on Friday. The new footage from the Colin Tilley-directed clip focuses on Bieber as he motionlessly floats underwater. Another shot from the blink-and-you-might-miss-it preview features the teen star, in a leather hoodie, standing in front of a burning tire swing. </P><P> </P><P><CENTER><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:754722/cp~vid%3D754722%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A754722" width="430" height="242" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></CENTER> </P><P> </P><P>The first tease featured a shot of Bieber looking at the camera as ladies' hands caress his face and chest. </P><P> </P><P>And that's it. So, what does it all mean? Fans will have to wait until the video's release to find out. </P><P> </P><P>When MTV News caught up with <a href="/news/articles/1682156/justin-bieber-explains-boyfriend-video.jhtml">Bieber on the set of his "Boyfriend" video</a>, he shared that the elements would play heavily into the theme of the video. "The concept of this video, I mean it's not like a steady concept," he said about the clip. "It's not like 'Justin follows this girl to this spot.' No, it's a bunch of amazing scenes: Like a fire scene, we have an ice scene. </P><P> </P><P>"It's kind of like bouncing back and forth," he said. "And then there's scenes of me and just a bunch of girl dancers, and just some great shots, great artistic shots, great shots of me smiling. It's fun." </P><P> </P><P>"Boyfriend" is the lead single off his forthcoming album, <i>Believe,</i> set for release later this year. It was produced by Mike Posner and Mason Levy. </P><P> </P><P>Anticipation for the album seems to be quite high. The song <a href="/news/articles/1682319/justin-bieber-boyfriend.jhtml">sold 520,000 downloads</a> in its first week. What does that mean? Matchmaker, matchmaker: Fights for Eric Prindle, Melvin Guillard and a six-fight pay-per-view

The latest from MMA's yentes includes a Bellator championship bout and the debut of a jiu-jitsu pioneer.

-- Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney announced on "MMA Uncensored" that Eric Prindle -- who just won the Bellator heavyweight tournament by Thiago Santos not making weight -- will take on champ Cole Konrad for the title on April 13 in Atlantic City.

-- UFC 145's pay-per-view will feature six main card fights. Miguel Torres' bout with Michael McDonald will now be on on the pay-per-view that will be headlined by Jon Jones putting his belt on the line against Rashad Evans.

-- At UFC 148, Melvin Guillard will try to snap his losing streak against Team Blackhouse fighter Fabricio Camoes. Guillard's last two bouts were first-round losses to Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon, while Camoes is coming off of a submission win over Tom Hayden.

-- Milton Viera, a jiu-jitsu star who is credited for creating the anaconda choke, will make his UFC debut at at UFC 147 in Brazil against Felipe Arantas. (An earlier version of this post said anaconda joke. While it was a typo, it was at least a funny one.)
