That's right: last weekend Poland won the Euro Championship!
OK, so it was the Euro T20 (cricket) championship and not all the teams from Europe were there, and not many of the Poland team are from Europe, but Poland kicked the arses of Russia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Hungary and finally Romania to win the eight-nation championship! Considering that they were expected to finish dead last, this is a stunning achievement for Polish cricket.
