Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne Enrolling now for 2013 Membership

The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne is now enrolling for 2013 membership. The fee is just $10 for the entire year and grants children 6 through 18 years old access to the Club and all its activities on all regular school days from 2 to 7 p.m.

The Club is also open to members for extended hours on early-release days and no-school days for Laramie County School District 1 throughout the year for just $5 per day.

School district busing is available from Afflerbach, Alta Vista, Bain, Davis, Deming, Gilchrist, Freedom, Henderson, Hobbs, Miller, Pioneer Park and Sunrise Elementary schools at no extra charge. Additionally, busing is available from Arp, Cole, Goins, Hebard and Rossman Elementary Schools as well as Carey, Johnson and McCormick Junior High Schools and Central, East, South and Triumph High Schools for $20 per month.

The Club?s nationally-recognized and award-winning programs help prepare youth to become responsible, caring, productive citizens by focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles and character and leadership development. Mentoring, tutoring, games and dozens of lessons and activities from art to financial literacy fend off delinquency, idleness and boredom by keeping kids busy, engaged and productive during non-school hours.

To sign up, stop by the Club at 1700 Snyder Ave. weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to fill out a membership application. Some scholarship opportunities are available.

Since opening in 1997, the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne has focused on inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
